Trained in Western Australia, she is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and the Oral Medicine Academy of Australasia, and also holds Fellowships with the Academy Dental International and the Pierre Fauchard Academy. Janina is actively involved in teaching and research as a Senior Lecturer and Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia, contributing to numerous research publications and book chapters. She holds consultant positions in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, the Maxillofacial Department at Perth Children’s Hospital, and she also maintains a private practice at Western Oral Medicine Group. Committed to community service, she volunteers her time to provide oral medicine care to disadvantaged populations.
